Needed a really good bar drop for a film we where doing. This is a nice combo of a dead iron bar drop to a sawdust and straw wood floor with the addition of a metal bar dropped on wood. A little drop of a light bulb to finish the sound off. One drop not repeated. Created by paul villeneuve and dominic kaiser / stories by the river.

It is a recording made with the following instrument´s: 1. Tuperware plastic and spoon; 2. A steren brand microphone, steren amateur model, was used; 3. The recording was done using the pure data adc code, and the necessary code to make a sampler with [tabwrite ~]; 4. The sound of the bottom of a ceramic mug, dragged over the metal grating of a coffee machine. It sounds like a sword drawn from a scabbard. Recorded using a zoom h6 in the kitchen. Applied a filter to remove unwanted low and very high frequencies. Also corrected the volume level to adjust all four recordings to the exact same level. There are some minor distracting noises - i assume from my shirt while moving the mug over the surface. Also a fan is very faintly audible in the background. If you are interested in a very clean recording of this sound, please let me know.
